The Sharp EQ3 series in black includes the following models: The remote control supports infrared and Bluetooth connections. The connectivity options include four HDMI ports with ALLM and eARC support, two USB 2.0 ports, AV composite in a 3.5 mm jack, optical audio out, headphone jack, LAN port, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, satellite and antenna RF inputs. Aquos Smooth Motion, Google Assistant, and Stadia Cloud Gaming are also on board. It is Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and DTS Virtual:X certified. The audio system is tuned by Harman/Kardon and features front-firing tweeters and bottom-firing subwoofers.

They are powered by Sharp's Aquos UltraClear Video Processor and arrive with Android 11 on board. The displays have a native refresh rate of 60Hz and an Active Motion index of 1000. The TVs also arrive with a Light Sensor with OPC (Optical Picture Control). They have a peak brightness of up to 500 nits and are Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HLG certified.
All models are fitted with 4K VA display panels with a Direct LED backlight, Quantum Dot Color technology, 94% DCI-P3 coverage, and 78% BT.2020 coverage.
The only difference between the two series is the color - the EQ3 comes in black and the EQ4 comes in silver. They are identical in terms of design (Full Aluminium Slim Frameless Design), footprint, specifications, and features. The 2022 Sharp EQ3 and EQ4 4K Quantum Dot Color series are launched in Europe.
